Fundraising Coordinator

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. As the Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in securing financial support for our organization’s mission and programs. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet revenue targets and support organizational goals.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and grant-making organizations.
• Plan and execute fundraising events, campaigns, and initiatives to engage donors and raise funds.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to create compelling fundraising materials and communications.
• Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide stewardship to donors and sponsors to maintain positive relationships and encourage continued support.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or related field, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire support from diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of fundraising techniques, strategies, and best practices.
• Passion for marine conservation, environmental education, and promoting diversity in marine careers.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Access to a computer, internet connection, and basic office software.
