Join the dedicated and highly passionate Sydney Eye Hospital Foundation team, supporting them in all areas of donor care, fundraising and community engagement.
This position plays an important role in contributing to the smooth running of the Foundation through the delivery of exceptional donor support, data administration and fundraising coordination.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a high level of customer care and database administration experience to develop their skills across fundraising within this foundation who are dedicated to raising funds for the largest specialist eye hospital in the southern hemisphere.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a high level of customer service by responding to donation inquiries and processing donations received by phone, digital channels, written correspondence, and in person in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure timely and accurate input of supporter information and donations into the donor database (Salesforce), maintaining data hygiene
- Coordinate batching, donation processing and reporting on the CRM and lead on, and develop best practice processes and procedures across the system
- Assist with campaign reporting, acquisition, and retention initiatives by extracting data based on donor trends and insights
- Coordinate and assist with the stewardship of donor relationships with both existing and potential new supporters
- Assist with event coordination across the fundraising program and support on community engagement activities
- Ensure the overall smooth operational running of the office with oversight of administrative responsibilities including responding to phone and email inquiries, invoicing, coordination of payments and compliance management
- Support the team in identifying new fundraising opportunities and be proactive in seeking ways to enhance the daily administration and data management of the Foundation
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications and experience in fundraising coordination, marketing, communications, customer care, administration management, supporter care or a related field
- Exceptional data admin skills with experience in upkeeping records, data entry, payment processing and data reporting
- Demonstrated CRM experience, with Salesforce as an advantage
- A problem solver with a proactive and solutions focused approach to improving systems and processes
- Strong administration skills including the use of MS Office programs and a high level of customer service with the ability to engage with supporters in person and on the phone
- Highest levels of attention to detail and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience or interest in event coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, passionate and fast paced team
- A passion to support this wonderful Foundation’s work, raising funds to ensure that all patients receive excellence in eye care
