More about the role:
As the Fundraising Support Officer, you will assist the Cricket and Community team with their fundraising efforts to help achieve the McGrath Foundation’s mission.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support key fundraising initiatives, including donor management, administrative tasks, merchandise management, event coordination, and campaign assistance.
- Build relationships with community fundraising supporters to encourage ongoing fundraising and future events.
- Help streamline processes and procedures, promoting productivity within the Cricket and Community team.
- Assist with event planning and activations, manage expenses, and support the recruitment and training of volunteers.
- Support with the delivery of partner and community fundraising events.
- Oversee the inventory of fundraising merchandise, including regular stock checks to ensure adequate supply for events and campaigns.
This role is full-time, based in the Sydney CBD. Hybrid working arrangements are available, with the team working 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
Who we are looking for:
We’re seeking a proactive and organised individual with:
- At least two years’ experience in administration, customer service or event coordination.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills to engage with staff, volunteers and other key stakeholders.
- Proven ability to be proactive and innovative in your approach to work to achieve success.
