£32,000 – £40,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Remote, with occasional travel within the UK as required.
Due to the nature of the role, you’ll be working an on-call rota with colleagues to ensure cover across a variety of time zones.We’re looking for a Funeralcare Repatriation Specialist to join our repatriation team within Co-op Funeralcare and Life Planning.In this role, we’ll look to you to coordinate and manage the repatriation arrangements for those who have died abroad or in the UK. You’ll work with international funeral directors’, embassies, and other government officials to deliver excellent services to our clients. We’ll look to you to make sure our end-to-end repatriation process is as fast and effective. and you’ll be key to the operational team’s understanding of repatriation, so we can help our clients say their best goodbye.   • Coordinate and manage repatriation arrangements for those who have died abroad or in the UK
  • Liaise with government and foreign officials to fulfil repatriation requirements, as required
  • Manage client and colleague queries, working to resolve any issues as quickly and effectively as possible
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners to understand current ways of working, and identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Provide the business with weekly repatriation performance updates
  • Coach and mentor colleagues, ensuring they have the knowledge they need to deliver repatriation arrangements

This role would suit people who have

  • Significant experience within Funeralcare or experience of working with embassy’s, consulates or working with people overseas
  • The ability to prioritise and problem solve across departments in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship building skills with senior internal and external partners
  • The ability to deliver high levels of customer service to our clients and act with care, discretion and empathy
  • Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
  • The ability to coach and influence teams to deliver the best outputs for our clients and our members
