Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations.

The responsibilities for the position include:
- Conduct treasury management activities, including application of daily cash receipts and other cash activity analysis
- Process accounting transactions, collect and analyze accounting data, analyze business results and develop management reports
- Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed; escalate complex matters when necessary
- Analyze and maintain general ledger accounts
- Perform financial closing activities, e.g., fixed asset accounting, bank reconciliations
- Ensure components of regulatory reporting such as sales and use tax and Census Bureau reports are compliant, accurate and timely
- Manage corporate credit card programs
- Monitor credit card reconciliation compliance
- Coordinate with external auditors to fulfill audit requests
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field or 2 years of commensurate experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in using standard MS Office programs especially Excel
- Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred but not required

- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skill
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate efficiently in a virtual work environment
Disclosures:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position. Depending on project work, qualified candidates may need to meet certain residency requirements.

AIR’s Total Rewards Program , is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated annual salary of $72,000 to $80,000. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
