General Director

Our current general director, Jim Armstrong has indicated to trustees he intends to retire at the end of 2025. Echoes International is therefore now seeking to appoint a new general director to work alongside Jim for part of the year, and to take the charity into 2026 and beyond. The individual will be responsible for the successful implementation of Echoes International’s objectives, vision and strategy going forward.

Demonstrating a sense of call, with knowledge of the brethren movement and experience of cross-cultural mission, the successful candidate should have a proven track record of leadership and strong ambassadorial and communication skills. They should have a heart for people and pastoral care, and understanding of good governance within a charity.
