We are seeking a passionate General Manager who wants to contribute to the to managing, delivering, improving and implementing change in a range of community services to ensure quality, cost effective and customer focused services to the remote and rural Kimberley residents working in Kununurra, working alongside a remarkable enthusiastic team.

Job Requirements:

Management

• Work collaboratively as a member of the Executive Management Team.
• Lead, inspire and manage the Community Services Team to achieve the outcomes identified in the Strategic Plan
• Ensure effective planning for the provision of high-quality community services having identified priorities and community needs.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of the Strategic Community Plan and actively involve Community Service staff in the process.
• Manage and continuously improve the cost effective and efficient provision of community services with a strong customer focus and in accordance with defined policies and processes.
• Programs include Driver Training, Governance, Pathways to Home Ownership, Emergency Relief and Financial Counselling, Accommodation Services and the Kimberley Education Excellence Program.
• Manage risk, budget, resources and facilities associated with Community Services, including ensuring that relevant grants and subsidies are applied for, managed, and properly acquitted.

Community Engagement

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies.
• Engage relevant community, government and non-government organisations in issues affecting the community.
