The Role
Providing strategic advice to the CEO and senior leadership team you will develop and implement effective people and culture frameworks, policies and procedures that ensure the organisation’s ability to attract, retain, develop and manage a highly engaged and committed work force.
You’ll champion a whole of organisation approach to people management as you work across all hub sites to foster relationships with staff, understand their approach to day to day caring, and review and adapt existing frameworks to ensure a positive and NDIS compliant culture.
You will also:
- Administer and own the ongoing application of the human resource information system
- Report to the board on all NDIS Practice Standards’ people quality indicators as required
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work Commission, EBA and other legislative requirements
- Oversee and manage employee relations and industrial relations matters
- Manage accreditation requirements
Skills Required
You are a highly collaborative senior leader who inspires others to embrace best practice and compliance. Your background is from aged care, disability, community, health care or other highly regulated environment, and you have a track record of achieving team engagement and improvement across people and culture organisationally.
With strong industrial relations experience including leading negotiations with the Fair Work Commission and unions, you are skilled in the strategy piece but equally understand the importance of rolling up your sleeves operationally to achieve effective outcomes. You have exceptional time management skills and you’re skilled in managing people to maximise effectiveness and well-being.
Additionally, you bring:
- HRIS oversight and administration experience
- Experience managing audit outcomes and accreditation requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of human resource services legal frameworks
- Experience reporting at executive and board level
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
