General Practitioner-Hassan sham

Key Responsibilities:

1. Apply medical knowledge and skills to diagnose and prevention. Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations, prescribing the necessary treatment
2. Keep the patient and/or his/her family informed about the illness and provide appropriate explanations about the treatment to follow, checking they have understood.
3. Refer patients to other hospitals when needed for further and proper interventions after ensuring the patients are stable before transferring
4. Prescribe drugs and medications according to the diagnosis and standard clinical protocols.
5. Contribute to the supervision of the quality of disinfection and sterilization processes.
6. Ensure patients follow- up and document all information.
7. awareness raising: Educate patients on health topics, in coordination with the medical coordinator and support the awareness sessions delivery, in collaboration with the medical and non-medical staff.

Education: 

• Medical Doctor bachelor’s degree M.B.Ch.B

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine degree and valid license to practice the profession
• Proven experience as a General physician
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
• Excellent knowledge of infectious diseases, their symptoms and epidemiology
• Broad knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
• In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
• Computer and basic IT skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Respect for patient’s confidentiality
• Compassionate and approachable
• Responsible and trustworthy

languages:

• Excellent communication skills Verbal and written Arabic and English, Kurdish is preferable.
