Do you have retail experience and are looking for the next step in your career?If you answered yes to these then we have the perfect opportunity for you.The roleThe store recently located in June 2024 so it is an exciting opportunity to develop the new store.Permanent – 35 hours per weekLocation – Scope’s Andover shop, SP10 1RLAs General Store Manager of Scope’s Andover store you’ll have autonomy to run the store using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding.You will:

  • Oversee all aspects of stock collection, preparation and display and look at ways to build stock donations.
  • Ensure accurate cash handling, banking and financial reporting.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop staff and volunteers within Scope’s HR and operational policies and procedures and foster an inclusive team working environment.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and engage with the local community to strengthen ties.
  • Review and implement all relevant Health and safety policies to ensure compliance.

  • Have previous fashion and homeware experience and previous experience of managing a large store footage.
  • Be personable and have excellent customer service skills.
  • You’ll need a commercial, can-do attitude
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Be numerate and ensure accurate cash handling, banking, and financial reporting.

So some weekend and Bank Holiday cover is needed. Our full time hours are 35 hours a week, working five days out of seven.
