Gift Planning Officer Sr

JOB PURPOSE 

Responsible for the raising of major, blended, and planned gifts
on behalf of the Cottage Foundations.

QUALIFICATIONS 

All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level
necessary to perform this job proficiently. 

LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. 

Preferred: Advanced Degree. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES,
REGISTRATIONS 

Minimum: 

Preferred: Certified Fund Raising Executive (CRFE)
designation. 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum: Computer skills including proficiency with MS office
suite, knowledge and experience with mail merge functions, and
ability to communicate via E-mail. Ability to become proficient
with Raiser’s Edge software. 

Preferred: 

YEARS OF RELATED WORK
EXPERIENCE 

Minimum: Six (6) years of fundraising, development, marketing,
sales experience in healthcare, higher education, or other
non-profit organization.
