Job Description

• Develop and execute a long-term GIS strategy in alignment with the project goals and objectives

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and internal departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

• Monitor technological developments in the GIS field, ensuring that software is updated as needed to enhance system efficiency.

• updates, overseeing the creation of maps and visual representations of data for business purposes.

• Conduct research on emerging GIS technologies and mapping applications to determine their suitability for the organization’s needs.

• Evaluate existing GIS systems to ensure they meet the project requirements and goals.

• Establish program structure for GIS technology that maximizes efficiency and productivity.

• Effectively manage budgets for GIS projects, overseeing expenditures to ensure efficient use of funds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in GIS technology and management, particularly in an engineering context.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficiency in GIS software and related technologies.

• Leadership experience, including the ability to manage and mentor a team.

• Knowledge of budgeting and financial management related to GIS projects.
