GIS Technician

Biodiverse Consulting are seeking a motivated, talented GIS Technician to support our
specialist team.

Having launched in 2019 as passionate advocates of Biodiversity Net Gain, we have experienced
exponential growth in our business, clients, geography and services. Now firmly established as
industry experts, our consultancy is moving into our next phase of business development with a growing
demand for Environmental Net Gain services. We are renowned for outstanding project management
delivery and exceptional customer service.

THE ROLE

To enhance Biodiverse Consulting’s delivery of outstanding project management and customer service, we are seeking a motivated, talented GIS Technician.  

Our GIS Technician position is key to our technical team. You will be passionate about GIS and will be responsible for all things mapping, including good data capture and management, map production for all our services, template production, geo-spatial analysis to support Environmental Net Gain recommendations and advising on field survey software to improve in the field efficiency. 

You will have demonstrable experience of using QGIS and
other GIS systems and their application in a real-world ecology setting.  Knowledge of Coreo is desirable.  Your skills, knowledge and
experience will be coupled with a creative and problem-solving mindset.
