You will be representing BT to some of our most important customers including SWIFT & Euroclear. You will demonstrate the best qualities of yourself and our organisation on a daily basis.

Thinking and acting commercially will mean our customers’ success will translate into profitable growth for BT.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver new sales and revenue growth on 80-100 named capital markets customer accounts;
  • Hunting new accounts within the European financial markets eco-system;
  • Establish, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy;
  • Manage the entire sales process (from standard product to complex multi-product deals) for new business sales and expansion of existing business;
  • Collaborate with, and provide leadership to, colleagues across the organisation when working on new opportunities;
  • Report & forecast accurately on sales pipeline, revenue and profit;
  • Develop account plans that support BT growth strategies, sometimes working with global account owners elsewhere to achieve this;
  • Selling the full Radianz portfolio which requires a high level of solution sales expertise;
  • Overall responsibility for the customer experience in your territory;
  • ability to walk the talk on a trading floor, both traders / brokers & IT;
  • both face to face, remote selling into more than 1 territory required;
  • Taking over two large established accounts with a handover.

Preferred experiences:

  • Experience closing large and complex opportunities in the financial sector;
  • Competencies in building value proposition and positioning strong proposals;
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel;
  • Knowledge in capital markets & market data products;
  • Presenting and selling to senior management stakeholders including “C” level executives;
  • Ability to walk the talk on the trading floor with traders, brokers, compliance and IT;
  • Generates account revenue and gross margin per account by driving strong customer relationships, account planning, and negotiates new deals and/or new commercial models with customers;
  • Lead present complex and large deals internally at win business process;
  • Ability to source new prospects and manage existing revenue generating customer relationships;
  • Strong selling and negotiation skills;
  • Sales experience in financial markets/capital markets sector and knowledge of the capital markets eco-system, trade flow processes and the technology behind the scenes;
  • Knowledge of the trade life cycle and ecosystem.
