As a Global Compensation & Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s compensation and benefits programs across 26 countries. This role is crucial in ensuring that the company’s offerings are competitive, aligned with organizational goals, and compliant with relevant regulations.
What you will do
- Develop, implement, and/or manage the organization’s compensation structure, including salary ranges, bonuses, and other incentives;
- Conduct market research to ensure the company’s compensation packages remain competitive within the industry and region;
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation programs;
- Design, administer, and manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks;
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal requirements related to employee benefits;
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure effective delivery and communication of benefit programs;
- Develop, review, and update compensation and benefits policies to ensure alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements;
- Communicate and educate employees about compensation and benefits policies;
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation and benefits;
- Stay informed about changes in legislation that may impact compensation and benefits programs;
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to identify trends, make recommendations for adjustments, and provide insights to support decision-making;
- Communicate with employees about changes to compensation and benefits programs;
- Provide information and support to employees regarding their compensation and benefits inquiries;
- Work with finance and senior management to develop and manage the compensation and benefits budget;
- Manage payroll services and (employee) labor contracts.
Your profile
- You hold a master’s degree in a relevant field and bring in several years of experience in international compensation and benefits roles, progressively responsible for managing programs and initiatives;
- In-depth understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends;
- Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations;
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data analysis and decision-making;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate policies and changes to employees;
- Familiar with HRIS (human resources information systems) and other relevant software;
- Ability to align compensation and benefits programs with overall organizational strategy.
