This is an exciting opportunity to provide global leadership, capacity building and guidance to ensure diverse funding and multiyear partnerships that bring in resources are created at all levels of the organisation in line with NRCs overall mandate and strategy to bring value to the people we work with. The role will have a focus on a new two-year partner contract within global corporate relations.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an innovative candidate with experience within business development, complex contractual cases. The ideal candidate should have experience working with stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

What you will do:

Some of your specific responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and implement the portfolio of private organisations complex contractual partnerships.
  • Contributing to the development of risk and compliance with the NRCs Capital Fund.
  • Support technical lead on implementation of unit’s strategy.
  • Support on development of contracts, compliance, and governance documentation, especially on complex cases.
  • Conduct vetting of potential corporate partners, especially focusing on complex cases.
  • Support with the development of the section’s procedures, especially within compliance and governance.
  • Support on development on NRC capital fund, including tracking of funding opportunities, risk management and compliance, check lists, vetting of prospects, create terms & conditions for funders, draft agreements for grants and loans for the fund etc.
  • Support on blended finance models.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 7 years of documented relevant experience within business development, complex contractual cases, or other relevant professional qualifications
  • Documented professional knowledge of the private sector marked.
  • Documented results related to strategic relationship building, partnerships and networking.
  • Documented abilities to simultaneously manage numerous tasks, project schedules and documents.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Communication skills to build bridges between the corporate industry and the humanitarian sector.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Interest in humanitarian and displacement issues an advantage.
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Be structured, diligent and have good organisational skills.

What we offer:

  • Duty station: The ideal candidate must be eligible to live and work in Oslo, Norway.
  • Contract: National 2-year contract.
  • Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRC’s regional salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
