The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Global Government Relations Team:

 

RTX Global Government Relations is seeking a Government Relations Professional to support and advance RTX Public Policy and International priorities in support of commercial and defense priorities before the Executive Branch and international stakeholders. Candidates should have an interest in a familiarly in national security, international relations, and the Executive Branch. The selected candidate with conduct research, monitor, analyze and summary regulatory proposals and other reports for their impact on RTX priorities in support of the RTX GGR team. The candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Public Policy team, across Global Government Relations, with partners in Corporate Communications, Legal, and Supply Chain, and with business units.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Global Public Policy & International Government Relations team to develop advocacy materials and briefing materials.
  • Work with the GGR team, other corporate partners, and business units to advance legislative and regulatory priorities.
  • Attend and report on external events that relate to RTX’s policy objectives or impact RTX’s business activities, such as legislative hearings, trade association conferences and roundtables.
  • Undertake special projects assessing the impact of significant developments on RTX’s business.
  • Assist with the preparation of briefing materials for senior executives or for meetings with senior government officials.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Political Science, International Relations, etc.)
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to work 4 days a week in-person in RTX HQ located in Rosslyn, VA
