Global Internship Program

IFC’s Financial Institution Group/Southern Africa is seeking an intern as part of our Global Internship Program (GIP). The Global Internship Program (GIP) offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of IFC and the broader World Bank Group and become part of the largest private sector development institution in the world. The program encourages individuals to bring new perspectives and innovative ideas to IFC’s work, while improving skills in a diverse and highly stimulating environment. Duties and Accountabilities:  

• Conduct market and client research.
• Execute analysis including comprehensive due diligence and financial modeling
• Analyze financial statements and projections and build financial models
• Contribute, as needed, to other team efforts

Selection Criteria:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Master’s degree level program.
• Field of study in Master’s in Finance, Economics or Accounting
• 2-3 years of previous work experience
• Fluency in English and knowledge of French or Portuguese is desired.
