We welcome the opportunity to discuss reduced hours and job share arrangements.The RoleThe role of our Global Logistics Coordinator is to work with stakeholders across the Carnival UK business and external logistics providers to generate best value for us in all aspects of Freight and Logistics. The logistical operations include warehouse operations, goods shipments and all other day to day activities relating to the Freight and Logistics operations.You will
- Help the logistics planning process, analysing results and improving process and procedures to enhance efficiency of the operations. Ensuring operations are in compliance with the P&Ps and that they are in line with the latest Carnival UK & industry requirements
- Capture spend associated with logistics activities
- Understand and monitor warehouse operations relating to the activities of Carnival UK including stock level review to optimise warehouse operations and storage requirements. Co-ordinate with necessary stakeholders to facilitate the decision making process on storage items
- Monitor, report and enhance on performance of third party logistics suppliers in relation to Carnival UK operational requirements
- Co-ordinate logistics activities in line with the logistics loading schedule
Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a full time, permanent basis, with at least three days based in our Southampton office.About YouFresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you’ll also need:
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in execution
- Supply Chain experience, understands Supply Chain systems & processes
- Logistics background
- Reporting and data analysis capability
- Open communication style.
