The Governance & Evaluation Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Governance & Evaluation Unit. This position is responsible for the successful implementation of Taungurung’s Recognition and Settlement Agreement (RSA).

Key Duties
- Manage staff to ensure a consistent approach and a coherent plan for the Governance and Evaluation unit
- Oversee the development of governance systems to ensure adequate oversight and data for all TLaWC’s agreements
- Manage the Governance & Evaluation unit by taking responsibility for budgeting, reporting and compliance associated with any grant funding associated with the responsibilities of that team.
- Work collaboratively across TLaWC to drive a range of outcomes in relation to treaty, NRM, economic development and nation-building
- Provide specialist technical advice and advocacy in engaging with a range of stakeholders on agreement management matters
- Prepare high quality briefs, submissions, reports and presentations for TLaWC senior management and/or government and non-government partners
- Take responsibility for leading work – policy, strategic and operational – that will advance Taungurung rights and interests through the form of agreements
- As part of the management team, actively contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies, systems, procedures and processes that will ensure a best practice approach to everything TLaWC does.
