Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking Graduate Assistant, Foreign Credential Evaluations – Boca Raton – FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Assist with data entry, grade conversions, and GPA calculations of foreign credentials (transcripts).

• Assist with the department email and communicate with applicants regarding their foreign transcript evaluations and additional required documentation.

• Assist with academic document processing: review transcripts and record evaluation requests from the undergraduate and graduate admissions offices.

• Support ISS and CGE with other functions (front desk, events, general inquiries) as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

FAU degree-seeking graduate student with a minimum of five credit hours (or nine if international) and a minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Strong computer skills and data entry experience: Microsoft Word, Excel required.
Comfortable to work with numbers and calculations required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to handle confidential matters required.
Cultural sensitivity in working with international students required.
High level of attention to detail required.
Outstanding critical thinking and logical skills required.
Willingness to tackle new projects required.
Ability to work well with others required.
Flexible schedule required.

Salary:

$16.00 per hour.
