JOB SUMMARYThe IT Operations Analyst responds to technical queries and prepares system changes relating to epay’s transaction services, plus configuration and testing of new products and services. Tasks typically involve Microsoft SQL; working alongside internal IT Project Managers. The candidate will also be developing tools and software on a windows platform, primarily but not limited to C# to aid in automating tasks and improve the efficiency of the team.ESSENTIAL DUTIESThe IT Operations Analyst/Developer will be responsible for:

• Database configuration and testing of new products and services.
• Technical fault diagnosis, testing and resolution.
• Day-to-day support functions as required for internal and external clients.
• Ad-hoc internal management and external client reporting, using SQL scripts/stored procedures.
• Work on internal processes to improve performance, reliability and usability through developing custom software.

RequirementsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer Science or STEM related degree from a Russel Group University or equivalent.
• Good GCSEs and A-levels.
• Experience using a programming language from Java/C++/C#/python.
• A desire to learn C# coding and TSQL
• Use of Visual Studio Development environment is desirable but not essential.
• Strong technical background and knowledge
• Ability to work well within a team and on an individual basis
• Good problem solver
• Willing to work to create solutions
• Good numerical, oral, and written skills.
