- Salary: £25,197.48 – £28,208.29 per annum
The Role
Applying the practical knowledge you have gained from your studies, you will work within a
supportive project delivery team on commercial marine environment consultancy projects. You
will need to be flexible and adaptable to engage with projects which may vary across marine
renewables, aquaculture, mariculture and beyond. Your studies will have shown you how varied
the marine environment can be.
Initially you will contribute to ongoing projects, developing skills and gaining experience to
enable you to deliver commercial contracts; engage positively with existing and new clients;
develop project management skills and participate in opportunity generation. You may also
engage in practical fieldwork and undertake literature reviews.
This is an entry level 12 month fixed-term role which sits within SAMS Enterprise, the
commercial subsidiary of SAMS. This job is based on site in our offices at Dunbeg, Oban.
There are two posts available at this time. One will lean towards the marine renewables sector
while the other will be more involved with regenerative aquaculture.
