| Scope of Job | • Greets visitors and provides information to students, faculty, staff, andgeneral public regarding department services, policies, and procedures. • Plan and direct marketing/public relations initiatives to inform and promoteoffi ce activities. • Create and deliver press releases, media relations content, case studies,white papers, newsletter content, and speaking proposals. • Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda. • Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing,presentations etc.). • Coordinate and monitor timelines to ensure all deadlines are met. • Keep updated records and create reports or proposals. • Plan and coordinate offi ce participations in campus events and activities. • Recommend, implement, and maintain website design and operation. • Coordinate event logistics, including registration, attendee check-in, andpresentation and materials support, and pre and post event evaluations. • Work with graphic designer to develop event promotional fl yers and othergraphics. • Assists with basic administrative functions of an offi ce. • Coordinate and publish content for all social media platforms. • Strong attention to details. • Excellent customer service and multitasking ability. •Assist with photography and/or video productions. • Working knowledge of windows based software preferred (MS Word, Excel,etc.) • Performs other duties as assigned. |
| Discipline Specific Required Qualifications | 1. Currently admitted to the Graduate School 2. Be in good academic standing 3. Be registered full-time for the respective semester (nine semester credit hours duringthe fall semester, nine semester credit hours during spring semester, six semester credithours during the summer session(s)), or in the required number of semester credit hoursto fulfill the only remaining requirements on the degree plan. |
