As our Graduate Trainee in Research and Programme Development, you will play a role in our passionate team, helping to make our shared vision a reality.
Your role & responsibilities
- You contribute to the development of cinfo’s services by carrying out research, evaluations and participate in the development of our tools and services
- You assist in the development and implementation of cinfo communities of practice, trainings and events, both online and in person
- You support in creating and managing project systems and online platforms
- You conduct research on thematic issues of priority to cinfo (for example on decolonization of aid, locally led development practices)
- You participate in outreach and data collection on topics and trends related to the job market of international cooperation
- You support in writing material and translate and correct content from and into your native language

Skills required
Your profile
- A recent graduate (BA/MA) in social science or a related field with an interest in global cooperation.
- Proficient in either French or German, with a good understanding of the other, and fluent in English.
- Good organisational and technical skills.
- A proactive, curious and creative individual who enjoys working independently, is eager to learn and can bring fresh perspectives to our team.
- Demonstrated interest in the international cooperation sector and the trends and challenges of the future of the sector.

Working hours and location
Our face-to-face team day is every Tuesday. Beyond this, you have the flexibility to choose your working hours and location. In February 2025, we will relocate from Biel to Bern. Our new premises in Bern are designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
