The Grand Bargain, launched during the WHS in Istanbul in May 2016, is a unique agreement between some of the largest donors and humanitarian organisations who have committed to get more means into the hands of people in need and to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the humanitarian action.
The Grand Bargain is a unique forum bringing together donors and aid organisations to drive progress on a common vision of maximising the impact of humanitarian work. The process is supported by a Secretariat, responsible for overall coordination and communication in the process, and for providing specific support to the governance bodies, namely the Grand Bargain Ambassadors and the Facilitation Group.

NRC provides administrative support including regarding the recruitment of staff that are contracted by the organisation. As per NRC procedures, all employees are expected to work in accordance with the organisation’s core values: dedication, innovation, inclusivity, and accountability. These attitudes and beliefs shall guide our actions and relationships.
The Grand Bargain Secretariat is now looking for an intern to support the team in supporting the process and delivering on the objectives set in the Grand Bargain framework for 2024-2026.
