CIMMYT is seeking a proactive, with attention to the detail, energetic and customer service-oriented professional for the position of Grant Management Analyst to work on the Donor Relations and Fundraising Unit of CIMMYT.
Specific duties:
- Coordinate grant management steps along the project cycle in collaboration with involved units internal and external clients
- Ensure grant information and records, documentation, and archiving are handled adequately and on timely manner.
- Contribute to improvements of the functioning of the department.
- Foster relationship with all units and internal clients. E.g Programs, Finance, Legal and Human Resources.
- Ensure external and internal audits are conducted properly.
- Perform other related tasks within the job level as may be requested by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- The selected candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or Project Management are beneficial.
- The candidate must have an C1 level of English (English will be tested).
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or Project Management is consider a strong asset.
- Additional Certifications or Courses: Specific certifications in project management, or grant administration demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning in the field.
Desirable work experience:
- 3+ years of experience in grant administration.
