Description of the workplace
Join the cutting-edge of neurodegeneration research with the world-renowned BioFINDER team at Lund University. As a global leader in studies of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, we’re now seeking a passionate Grant Manager to help drive our groundbreaking work forward. Our research aims to improve the diagnostic work-up, and ultimately the treatment, of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. As a grant manager you will be joining an internationally leading team of neuroscientists and clinical researchers, who are at the forefront of research on these diseases. Your experience in grant management will advance our innovative and impactful projects even further, making a genuine difference for patients, caregivers and society. The research group, Clinical Memory Research (the BioFINDER team), is led by Professor Oskar Hansson and is located at the Biomedical center (BMC) in Lund. You can read more about our research here.

Work tasks and responsibilities
We are looking for a Grant Manager with relevant professional experience to make a significant contribution at all levels of the project lifecycle including identification of suitable funding calls (national and international), project application, project management and reporting, i.e., both pre-award and post-award. You will routinely interact with scientists, administrative and legal staff. In short, you will have a central role in connecting different stakeholders in this environment and from this position be involved in designing diverse center activities. You are expected to have excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to interact with other researchers and to contribute to the common goals of the group.

Terms of employment
The employment is a full-time permanent position. Preliminary starting date is January 2025, or as agreed. A probationary period of up to 6 months may be applied.
