Position Summary:
Alzheimer’s WA is actively seeking a skilled Grant Writer to contribute to a short-term project lasting 3-4 weeks (with the possibility of extension). Collaborating with our Finance and Care and Services teams, you will leverage your grant writing expertise, particularly within the community/aged care sector. While the specific grant type is flexible, prior experience in grant writing within the community/aged care sector is highly desirable.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and submitting funding application including EOIs, proposals, presentations, briefings and grant applications
- Developing and maintaining a strong network with stakeholders
- Expanding various registers including suppliers, donors and partnerships register
- Monitoring grant expenditure and ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines
Selection Criteria:
- Proven grant writing experience in aged care/ disability services sector with successful outcomes.
- Understanding of grant-related legislative and compliance requirements.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification is considered advantageous
- NDIS Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current WA Driver’s License.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate (3 doses).
