Position Title: Grant Officer
Duty Station: Sulaymaniah
Report to: Senior Finance Manager
Deadline: January 10, 2024
JOB PURPOSE:
The Grants Officer will play a crucial role within both the Program Team and Finance department. They will have a dual reporting line to both the Snr Finance Manager and the Project Manager, ensuring appropriate supervision for all financial, compliance, and operational aspects.
This position is based in Sulaymaniah and is required to travel to different governorates within Iraq federal governorates, KRG of Iraq, and Northeast Syria, if security situation allows.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
LANGUAGE:
Kurdish fluency with advanced skills in English reading, writing and speaking required; knowledge of Arabic a plus.
PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:
Collaborative spirit and ability to work independently as well as in a team; commitment to knowledge sharing and teamwork; positive attitude and ability to see through challenges to find solutions; and strong interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate, including complex concepts into layperson language
