KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the partnerships identification
Leading in the partnership’s identification
Leading in the mapping of potential donors.
Conducting detailed desk research on potential donors.
Carrying out regular field visits to the potential donors to explain our expertise and our interest in cooperating with Program Manager.
Categories the donors based on their structure, expertise, geographical location, and interest.
Updating database of donor’s by collecting the information of the potential partnerships.
Support the organizational capacity assessment of the potential partnerships:
Support the operational, and technical staff as needed in the organization and facilitation of capacity assessments for potential partnerships.
Participating in the sub-award proposals review and approval process as needed.
Ensures that all personnel understand the importance of the Partnership Strategy and how it relates to them and that they are fully involved in its implementation.
Ensures excellent relations with key government partners and put in place systems that maintain them.
Partnerships management
Ensure a high level of coordination with donor’s and other stakeholders to ensure that the planning and implementation of the project according to approved proposals.
Supervising the coordination with donors to achieve the project deliverables.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to MASAR HD staff.
Meet donor partners regularly to monitor progress; share lessons learned, experiences, observations, obstacles and to review and update the projects plans of actions if needed.
Identify needs and provide opportunities for capacity building by donor partners to ensure proper technical and operational skill levels of MASAR HD staff.
Ensure compliance with donor policies; especially procurement, HR, finance, and fraud.
Ensures effective engagement of strategic donor partners, especially international groups, and leaderships.
General Administrative Support
Drafting agreements with donor partner and external consultants.
Preparing agendas and writing meeting minutes for staff meetings and provide logistics support when needed.
Develops strategic partnership-building approaches with local government, Donors, Civil Societies, Corporates, and stakeholders.
Working with the Fundraising officer, to engage in fundraising activities for the MASAR HD programs and HQ Office.
Other duties
Attending and participating in capacity building trainings if any.
Achieving other relevant tasks as assign.
Any other duties relating to the nature of the job as directed by CEO.
Supports, backstopping, guidance, and training of MASAR HD staff in partnership matters at all levels.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:
A university degree in finance, public administration accounting or related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience working with international NGOs or UN agencies and 1 year in grant/contracts administration domain.
Required:

3.Excellent command of excel and other database applications
4.Computer/word processing and standard office software skills
5.In addition, must be flexible, willing to perform assigned and additional duties and work irregular hours under potentially hazardous conditions
6.Fluency in written/spoken Arabic and Good command of written/spoken English
7.Turkish reading and writing skills are a plus
