How can you make a difference? 

All applications will be evaluated based on 75 points for technical – (knowledge /expertise /skills) and 25 points for quotations/financial submissions. Applications should include:

  • Evidence of Similar Work
  • A creative design proposal that articulates how you will approach the tangible output requested. This should include a realistic and timed plan of action, including proposed number of days required for completion of the work for all components.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Education and Experience

  • An Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art or a related field
  •  A minimum of  5 yearsof relevant professional experience in graphic design.
  • Excellent design and layout skills.
  • Prior experience with producing technical reports, laying out pictures, charts and tables.
  • Understanding of the work of the UN, UNICEF.
  • Note: The above can be supported by sharing similar work that the graphic artist has developed that is relevant to the project described in this RFQ.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. 
  • Professional technical knowledge and expertise in Specialized knowledge of PC and Mac OSX platforms:
  • Experience with digital file types, i.e., jpg, gif, eps, etc.
  •  Experience with digital printing processes for publications.
  •  Experience with image resolution optimization.
  •  Experience with Design software: Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat Professional, and Genuine Fractals among others.

Other Skills and attributes

  • Graphic Artist should clearly demonstrate ability to deal with multiple last-minute changes without compromising the delivery deadlines.
  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Must be detail-oriented and sets high levels of quality and productivity for self.
  • Ability to clearly defined objectives and plan activities…
  • Demonstrated experience on UNICEF will be an asset.
