Contract Type: Framework Agreement, deliverable-based.
Duration of the contract: one year with possible extension.
Background:
Badael, a rights-based organization established in 2013, is seeking a Graphic Designer to
collaborate with us under a Framework Agreement. Badael’s mission is to foster transformative
justice and support inclusive, grassroots civic action in Syria, shaping a future based on truth,
pluralism, and peace. Our work spans direct assistance, capacity building, narrative shaping,
advocacy, research, and oral history initiatives.
Services Overview: We are looking for a talented graphic designer to work on a deliverable based contract. This means you will be compensated for each completed deliverable. The
designer will collaborate closely with the communication department to develop visuals for
various projects, ensuring consistency with Badael’s mission and brand identity.
Key Deliverables :
Deliverable and Description
-Design of Communication Materials: Flyers, brochures, posters, and banners for campaigns or events.
-Social Media Graphics: Customized designs for social media posts, covers, and banners.
-Infographics and Data Visualization: Infographics that simplify complex data for reports or researches.
-Website Graphics/ support design: Website banners, icons, and graphic elements for web.
-Publication Design (e.g. researches/Reports): Complete layout design for digital and/or print publications.
Qualifications/ requirements:
• Established track record of successful design work, with a portfolio demonstrating
experience in advocacy, non-profit, or human rights sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to tailor designs for a variety of target audiences.
• Strong understanding of Syria and MENA contexts, and sensitivities is essential
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English communication is required.
Framework Agreement Details:
• The agreement will be based on individual deliverables.
• Each applicant must provide a financial offer specifying their rates for different
deliverables mentioned above
• Payments will be made upon the completion of each deliverable.
