• The Graphic Design vendor is expected to deliver the 2025 calendar design mock-up, and print-ready finished artwork.

Duties and Responsibilities

Background The UN Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) is seeking for a Graphic Design vendor to carry out visual communication projects and initiatives across several media by developing high quality print-ready designs for the 2025 UN Nigeria Calendar working closely with the UN) Information Centre for Nigeria (UNIC) for technical details and compliance. Reporting Line The individual contractor will report to the Head of the Resident Coordinator’s Office in carrying out the key responsibilities of the assignment in close supervision from UNIC. Location/Duty Station Abuja Responsibilities:

• Design themes, Layouts and a cover for the 2025 calendar and 2025 One-UN Report
• Construct a life-size mock-up of the calendar and report  Maintain templates (InDesign, CorelDraw, Publisher Word, PowerPoint etc) for future references and use
• Meets timeline for delivery of products or services to client

Qualifications/special skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a discipline relevant to IT, fine arts, Graphic Design, certified degree in CAD (computer-aided design and drafting) software relevant to the production of maps and illustrations is required. Two years (2) experience in working at different CAD environment, mainly at Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator andor Corel Draw and good knowledge at Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required.

Languages

• English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
