Cape York Partnership is a non-profit Indigenous organisation empowering the people of Cape York. Our partnership consists of 10+ entities and initiatives working on areas of policy, empowerment, education, employment, health, language and culture. We co-design all our initiatives with the people of Cape York so they can lead the changes they need for their communities to prosper.
About the role
As an integral member of our Communications team, you will work across all our entities and initiatives to design our print and digital collateral while maintaining our brand. In any given you week you could find yourself designing a report, developing a logo for a new initiative, working on a new website design, retouching photos, creating an invite for an event or choosing paper stock with a printer.
The role is currently part-time, 22.5 – 30 hours a week. Work days and hours are flexible.
Total hours may be increased or decreased for the right candidate.
As Graphic Designer you’ll be based in our Cairns office with occasional opportunities to travel to Cape York communities, however travel is not an essential part of this role. Remote candidates will not be considered.
This role provides ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
