POSITION SUMMARY
(Multiple candidates will be hired for this role) Reporting to the Green Pathways Project Manager, a Green Infrastructure Training (GRIT) Program participant will embody community leadership skills, deepen their relationship with the natural world, learn how to succeed in the workplace, develop green job skills, and launch their green careers. The Groundwork Denver Green Infrastructure Training Program is a two-month employment exploration program for young adults aged approximately 18 to 28 years old. Participants are expected to fully engage in hands-on projects and in-class sessions to increase chances for employability within green jobs. Participants leave with valuable trainings and certifications as well as a year of career placement support and foundational knowledge regarding: Tree & rain garden training and installation, Stormwater Management trainings, River Watch water quality monitoring and reporting workshops, OSHA-10, HAZWOPPER-40, and CPR/First Aid Certifications.
