POSITION OVERVIEW

• Location: Denver, CO
• Reports to: Green Pathways Project Manager
• Work Schedule: April 20, 2026 to June 12th, 2026- Monday-Friday; ~9:00am-2:00pm; approximately 25 hours/week
• Compensation: $20.00 per hour
• Status: Part-Time, Temporary, Non-Exempt
• Work Model: In Person

POSITION SUMMARY

(Multiple candidates will be hired for this role) Reporting to the Green Pathways Project Manager, a Green Infrastructure Training (GRIT) Program participant will embody community leadership skills, deepen their relationship with the natural world, learn how to succeed in the workplace, develop green job skills, and launch their green careers. The Groundwork Denver Green Infrastructure Training Program is a two-month employment exploration program for young adults aged approximately 18 to 28 years old. Participants are expected to fully engage in hands-on projects and in-class sessions to increase chances for employability within green jobs. Participants leave with valuable trainings and certifications as well as a year of career placement support and foundational knowledge regarding: Tree & rain garden training and installation, Stormwater Management trainings, River Watch water quality monitoring and reporting workshops, OSHA-10, HAZWOPPER-40, and CPR/First Aid Certifications.

OTHER EXPECTATIONS

Participants must:

• Maintain a 90% attendance with mandatory attendance the following trainings:
  • Stormwater Training
  • Dependable Strengths Articulation Workshop
  • HAZWOPPER-40 Training
  • Virtual OSHA-10 Training
  • Root Camp
• Be between the ages of 18-28 years old based on funding
• Have reliable transportation to the Groundwork Denver office at 3280 Downing Street, Denver, CO 80205.
• Be interested in conservation, community and environmental
• Have commitment to teamwork, safety, follow-through, education, and hard
• Be physically able to work outside and lift 25lbs of
