Greenspace Officer

Play a significant role in the development & delivery of actions to improve biodiversity
across the Borough (ensuring there is effective dialogue with adjoining authorities as
appropriate) including contributing significantly to the Council’s response to the Climate
Emergency.

To provide and /or procure specialist ecological support for the management & development
of sites for biodiversity, wildlife and related issues.

Co-ordinate the work of partner organisations in relation to Bolton’s greenspaces, with
specific responsibility for the management of local Nature Reserves.

About You:

You will have a degree or equivalent experience in a relevant ecological or environmental field
with experience of managing sites for wildlife and biodiversity.
