About the role
Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) are a leading provider of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs in Victoria. As part of the state government’s integrated framework of response to family violence, and compliance with the ‘No To Violence’ (NTV) minimum standards of quality practice, you will facilitate and deliver family violence group programs to men who have used violent and controlling behaviours.
There are two great casual opportunities for skilled individuals seeking work outside of normal office hours, as groups are usually facilitated at night for five (5) hours, minimum one (1) and up to three (3) nights per week over a 20-week program on a casual basis. Groups are facilitated at our centres located in Boronia or Kew or offsite venues.
The hourly rate is between $62.25 to $66.73 per hour including casual loading.
About you
- Degree in Social Work, or a related field.
- Graduate certificate in Male Behaviour Change Group Facilitation (preferable).
- Previous experience facilitating to groups of similar content in Community Sector.
- Demonstrated understanding of the men’s behaviour change (MBC) process and the gendered nature of family violence and commitment to living non-violently.
- Commitment to enhancing the safety of women and children who have experienced male family violence.
