About our role

As part of our Digital Transformation journey, we have a newly created opportunity for a Senior Leader to own and lead our Technology Platforms.

The purpose of this role is to own the technology platforms, provide support desk services, and continuously improve technology capabilities to enhance team member experience across the organisation.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the practices and framework for Technology platform development and management, implementing standards and requirements to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
  • Overseeing the application support and maintenance, planning, execution, and integration of our MS Dynamics and Sitecore platforms.
  • Leading our Service Management function and maintaining highest service levels by overseeing the day-to-day support and maintenance of our corporate platforms
  • Leading Disaster Recovery and BCP Planning to ensure business continuity in the face of unforeseen events.
  • Leading a team of people managers, building capability and skilling across the Platform Management and Employee Experience team.

About you

As an energetic Senior Leader, you are focused on ensuring seamless operational support for our corporate platforms, delivering innovative solutions for digital transformation, and overseeing critical service management functions.

Through expertise and leadership, you will drive a positive and productive environment for both our internal team members and our dedicated volunteers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years in senior leadership role
  • Technical background in software development and application support and maintenance
  • Leadership: Experience leading a team of managers, and leading diverse teams
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of corporate platforms and IT systems. Familiarity with digital transformation strategies
  • Service Management: Experience in ITIL frameworks or similar, including managing a service desk and ensuring optimal service levels
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Experience in developing and executing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity
  • Financial Acumen: Budget management experience, including cost forecasting and ROI analysis.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including executives and frontline staff
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to craft and implement long-term strategies for both employee engagement and tech solutions
