Gynecologist

Under supervision of the Line Manager, the Gynecologist will work in the existing Reproductive Health (RH) Units in Hasansham U3. The main duties and responsibilities are as below:

1. Conducting routine check-ups, such as Pap tests and pelvic exams, to screen for reproductive health issues
2. Diagnosing and treating a variety of gynecological conditions, such as infections, cancers, and menstrual disorders
3. Prescribing medications and other treatments for gynecological conditions
4. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as ultrasound or biopsy, to diagnose and monitor conditions
5. Counseling patients on birth control options, including prescription of contraceptives and fitting for intrauterine devices (IUDs)
6. Performing routine prenatal care and monitoring the health of both the mother and fetus during pregnancy
7. Assisting with childbirth, including performing cesarean sections or other surgeries as needed
8. Managing menopause and hormonal imbalances, including prescribing hormone replacement therapy
9. Good knowledge on the family planning program
10. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians and midwives, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
11. Organize awareness sessions on the health-related topics for the camp female in reproductive age.

• Gynecologist and obstetric specialist with minimum 4 years’ experience.
• Ability to work with multi – disciplinary and Multi – cultural beneficiaries.
• Ability to work as a team member.
