JOB OVERVIEW:   

This is a short-term, two-year position where you will be part of an organization leading in the area of conservation dedicated to restoring and preserving natural habitat and ecosystems.  While in this position, you will play a vital role in supporting our conservation efforts through biological inventories, monitoring activities, land management projects, and native seed collection. Work in database programs as GIS to assess the results of inventories as well as reporting back the results. Furthermore, we will help you achieve a USDA Pesticide Operator’s license and prescription burn crew training to assist the team in land management practices.    

What are we looking for? Someone beginning their career within this field with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in either biology, ecology, zoology, or another natural resource related field. However note, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be substituted for a degree.

For your safety and those around you, we require applicants to have a current, valid driver’s license and complete a pre-employment drug screening due to driving being essential to the job as well as being able to frequently lift up to 50lbs.
