Cornerstone Habitat and Land Management is a Veteran-owned and operated small business, based out of our family farm near Patriot, OH. At Cornerstone Habitat, we work with private landowners, state agencies, businesses, and conservation organizations to put wildlife habitat on the ground in Ohio and surrounding states. Day-to-day tasks include removal of invasive plant species, creation of wildlife management plans, pollinator plantings, timber stand improvement, and a variety of other habitat-focused work. We utilize chainsaws, ATVs/UTVs, a variety of herbicide sprayers, hand tools, and some heavy equipment (seed drill/mini-excavator, etc.). We value education, and encourage and pay for all employees to continue their professional development by taking classes, gaining certifications, and improving their knowledge and understanding of land management strategies and techniques.  If this sounds like a career for you, send us your resume, or a detailed cover letter explaining your interest and qualifications.
