About the role

This senior position will:

  • Lead the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of the headspace brand and marketing strategy and its integration across the enterprise and throughout the headspace centre network.
  • Anchor all brand and marketing initiatives in the needs of young people, regardless of headspace service lines and channels.
  • Create and embed an innovative new content and social strategy, leveraging digital channels and our rich array of impact stories, to drive engagement with young people and their families.
  • Embed CX rigour and breadth into decision making and design.
  • Build organisational understanding and buy-in of long-term brand building and drive a coherent and compelling brand strategy spanning all headspace products and services and all stakeholder groups including B2C, B2B and B2G.
  • Build an optimised digital marketing strategy and use data and insights to drive an improved personalised end-to-end customer experience across all key touchpoints.
  • Provide market / customer / competitor analysis and interpretation.
  • Oversee the establishment and management of a high-performing, efficient and cost-effective panel of marketing and brand vendors.
  • Oversee the Brand & Marketing divisional budget, expenditure, and financial reporting.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing brand and marketing team.

Who we’re looking for

headspace is seeking an experienced leader with:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in brand and/or marketing roles, with demonstrated management experience and a history of driving commercial growth and enhanced brand health.
  • Proven ability to create and implement multifaceted brand and marketing strategies, perform in a fast-paced environment and provide clear reporting on ROI.
  • Advanced understanding of digital marketing and the use of digital platforms in delivering effective marketing programs and optimised customer experiences.
  • Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management – you will be a skilled and confident communicator able to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across Australia.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving and decision-making skills, with sound judgement and the ability to distil information into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional people management capability and experience.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to problems.
