We invite competent, experienced, and committed professionals to fill the following positions:

 

The Head of Business Development and Grants is responsible for leading Plan International Pilipinas Foundation Inc. in securing the resources required to operationalize the Foundation’s Country Strategy. In close coordination with the Foundation’s Partnership Unit, the Head of Business Development and Grants ensures that the development and execution of partnership agreements and contracts relating to grant-funded programs/projects are consistent with donor contracts and donor compliance requirements.

Further, as the Head of Business Development and Grants:

 

  • You will lead the Business Development and Grants team, in the preparation and review of the Foundation’s annual grants/resource mobilization targets, plans, and achievements.
  • You will provide oversight in the development of concept notes and grant proposals in collaboration with relevant units.
  • You will support the due diligence process by providing inputs to the partner’s capacity-building plans related to compliance and according to the requirements of the grants.
  • You will develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with local missions, in-country donors/funding organizations including bilateral, multilateral, corporate donors, high net-worth individuals, and external networks.
  • You will represent the country in donor meetings and related external functions.
  • Plan International Pilipinas Foundation Inc. is a development and humanitarian organization. In exceptional cases, you will be asked to support emergency response activities.

 

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

 

To be successful in the role you will need among other things:

 

  • Master’s degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in the development sector, or demonstrated equivalent combination. of their role.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience in proposal development, and fundraising/resource mobilization.
  • Knowledge of and experience in working with corporate, bilateral, and multilateral donors.
  • Substantial experience with the NGO/development sector with knowledge of gender-transformative programming.
  • Adequate experience in negotiation, influencing, and external representation particularly with partners, government, media, etc.
  • Adequate experience in managing large units with diverse sectorial expertise, including program managers and project managers of varied backgrounds.
  • Proven leadership and management experience and ability to work independently.
  • This role may require fieldwork. Applicant must be open and able to conduct fieldwork in areas covered by Plan International Pilipinas.
  • Applicants must be based in the Philippines and a Filipino national.
