As Head of Compensation you will be responsible for managing a team of Reward Partners that deliver effective compensation strategies to our Business for UK and Channel Islands. Covering Grading structures, Basic Pay and Variable pay your, role will cover our staff and Salaried Partner groups.

Reporting to the Reward Director, you will be a senior reward professional and used to working with significant levels of independence and autonomy leading a Reward Partnering team in the UK.
We offer the opportunity to bring our firm-wide reward strategy to life through compensation strategies that align effectively to the commercial requirements of our business.
You will engage with senior stakeholders across the business and HR colleagues providing expert Reward advice and commercially sound solutions.
You will be responsible for supporting our firm-wide RemCo and leading on firm-wide projects such as Job Architecture, End of Year process enhancements and reward system implementations.
Connect to your skills and professional experience
- As a seasoned professional reward practitioner you will understands the importance of connecting HR levers, such as performance, reward and development to enable high levels of engagement and a motivated workforce
- You will have extensive experience in dealing with compensation strategies and structures preferably in a professional services environment and confident to deliver these out to the business in a complex matrix structured organisation.
- Able to engage and influence at Partner and senior stakeholder level, a natural presenter and used to persuading stakeholders with high quality dialogue around commercially aligned reward design and strategy.
- Experienced in managing and motivating a team of reward professionals ensuring there are opportunities for personal growth as well as collaboration to ensure there is alignment across the firm.
- Experienced in implementing Job Architecture methodology and ensuring grading structures are well received and embedded across the business.
- Familiarity with Reward related technology and preferably with experience of leading and implementing best practice reward system solutions.
- You will be highly numerate and will naturally apply logic with creativity to ensure data led decision making across our reward portfolio.
- Able to plan and execute concurrent activities to time, quality and budget through the reward partnering team.
- Ability to act as an internal consultant and work effectively with the business and business facing HR colleagues to drive results.

Personal independence
