If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our client is a rapidly growing online outdoorwear brand at an exciting inflection point. With recent investment driving expansion across the UK, US, and Europe, the ecommerce channel continues to experience unprecedented growth. This pivotal role will underpin the brand’s continued success as they navigate this dynamic phase of their development. We’re seeking a Head of Ecommerce (Senior Ecommerce Manager) to oversee trading, digital marketing, and analytics, leading a small but dedicated in-house team and leveraging an extensive budget and agency resources.responsibilities:

  • Trading: Manage day-to-day operations of the website to maximize customer experience and drive sales.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement ecommerce strategies to enhance website performance and customer engagement.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze performance against KPIs, present insights to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Agency Management: Oversee digital marketing agencies across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates, email marketing, and social media.
  • Website Optimization: Collaborate with in-house developers to enhance website speed, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI).
  • Audience Development: Identify and cultivate new audiences to expand market reach.
  • Brand Awareness: Partner with the marketing team to boost brand awareness, traffic quality, and customer acquisition.
  • Performance Optimization: Improve acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies for local audiences in the UK, North America, and Europe.
  • Trend Discovery: Stay ahead of industry trends to drive continuous website performance improvements.
  • Content Management: Oversee website uploads and landing page development.
  • Team Management: Manage the Community Manager to ensure targets are met and roles are executed efficiently.

ideal knowledge, skills and experience

  • Digital Marketing: Deep knowledge of PPC, SEO, social media, display advertising, and affiliate channels.
  • Platform Experience: Expertise in Shopify+ and email platform Klaviyo.
  • UX/UI Understanding: Excellent grasp of UX, customer flow, and web analysis.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in attribution modeling, website speed optimisation, A/B testing, conversion management, and sales journey optimisation.
  • Data Enthusiast: A passion for data, with meticulous attention to detail.
