Head of Finance
We are looking for a talented financial professional who is also a passionate people leader, to drive the finance function of our organisation with a focus on continual improvement.
About the opportunity
The Head of Finance fronts the Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research’s Finance team and is an integral leader for the business, responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance function, ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met.
The Head of Finance works closely with the General Manager Corporate Services in maintaining the Company’s financial integrity and sustainability through strategic business planning, financial reporting and systems management.
This role has a broad list of stakeholders both internally and externally, and the ability to build and maintain these relationships will be critical in this role.
This position is permanent, full time, reports to the General Manager, Corporate Services, and is based at our Lincoln site.
About you
You will be an experienced financial professional with at least seven years’ experience leading a team. Your exceptional communication skills combined with your financial nous will be key to your success in this role. You will take deadlines in your stride and have the desire to be involved strategically alongside capably managing Manaaki Whenua’s day to day finances.
