Reports to: Director of Nature Recovery
Salary: £40,000 to £42,000
Contract/Hours: Full time 37.5 hrs per week
Based at: Elm Tree Court with some home working
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic individual to lead our Water Team, working across the
Hampshire Avon, Bristol Avon and Thames catchments. You will manage a budget of £1.1m and team
of six project managers and officers to develop and deliver a diverse programme of freshwater
habitat restoration and creation projects. This will continue our successful work improving the
ecological health of rivers and wetlands in Wiltshire.
You will work closely with multiple partners and stakeholders across the county and other teams
within WWT. You will need to be confident with project and financial management and be a superb
communicator, with the ability to build a professional rapport with farmers and angling clubs
as well as colleagues in other NGOs and statutory and corporate bodies.
