Head of Fulfilment

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Fulfilment to join the Commercial
team. The Head of Fulfilment will be responsible for ensuring maximum customer and supporter
satisfaction for our Commercial business. In addition to leading the team, you will lead on
fulfilment contract negotiations and tenders, setting and monitoring Service Level Agreements
and holding suppliers to very high standards of service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team, collaborative
working, implementing efficient processes, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Roles and Responsibilities for Head of Fulfilment:

• Develop and implement a fulfilment strategy optimising operational performance and
  efficiencies. 
• Manage and develop relationships with suppliers and logistics providers, ensuring all
  service level agreements are met. 
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards across our fulfilment
  processes.
• Monitor and analyse fulfilment metrics to identify and resolve any issues in the fulfilment
  process to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate within the Commercial department, including e-Commerce, Buying and
  Merchandising and Retail to ensure we are delivering a seamless customer experience. 
• Collaborate with teams across the organisation to deliver an exceptional experience for all
  supporters engaging with the RSPB through membership materials, appeals and signage on
  reserves. 
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in order fulfilment and implement new
  processes as needed.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Proven experience as a Head of Fulfilment or similar role, with a track record of
  delivering results in managing a team. 
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple
  priorities simultaneously. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively. 
• Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and inventory management processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong
  relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. 

This is a Permanent, Full-Time role for 37.5 hours per week. We are looking to conduct
interviews for this position from week commencing 18th March
2024.
