At Tech To The Rescue, we are not just talking about making a difference — we are actively turning that vision into reality! And we’re growing! We are looking to enhance our team with the Head of Fundraising to lead our fundraising initiatives.

Context: You would work closely with both co-founders who are involved in the fundraising process. Founders would be one of the sources of high potential deal opportunities and you would be expected to nurture and seek other sources, as well as provide operational excellence coordinating team, making sure the team is achieving goals.
As a senior sales representative closing some of the key deals. We use the word “fundraising” interchangeably with “sales” because we have a business background and we understand that successful fundraising is based on a solid sales-like process with the main difference in the product that is offered – in our case, it is not a commercial product aimed at Return on Investment but pro-bono services focused on Return of Impact for our beneficiaries from underrepresented communities. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Nurture relationships with potential leads and close high-profile deals turning prospects into donors.

Create offerings for donors and compile a compelling list of services and benefits for partners, ensuring alignment with their interests and the organization’s objectives.

Formulate and implement fundraising initiatives in collaboration with co-founders, focusing on achieving financial targets and advancing the organization’s mission.

Collaborate with other departments to create compelling case studies and success stories that demonstrate the impact of our work.

The team is working closely with Marketing to generate new opportunities.

Manage a team of 3 and coordinate the actions of a team of 6, promoting a high-performance culture and alignment with strategic goals.

The Fundraising team currently consists of 6 people, including two founders, and 4 team members responsible for different stages of the sales/fundraising process.

Set key performance indicators, track fundraising effectiveness, and provide comprehensive reports to leadership and stakeholders.

Direct the entire fundraising lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring operations and personal involvement in securing major donations.

Organize and execute key fundraising events to engage donors and secure funding.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Fluent / Native English language (both written and communicative).

High level of Energy and “can-do” attitude

Straight to the point and very goal-oriented

Experience in fundraising / sales leadership roles, preferably in technology or non-profit sectors.

Wide network of contacts and demonstrated ability to engage a diverse range of donors and partners.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage at all levels.

Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns and/or sales strategies.

Passion for technology and its potential to drive social change.
GOOD TO HAVE

Experience in Tech for Good market as an important member/advisor of one of the leading organizations

Experience in working on global market, with international Donors/Investors/Clients
Salary: Director-level salary with an option for hybrid remuneration of flat salary + commission-based bonuses (B2B agreement)

At Tech To The Rescue, we are building a community of changemakers willing to scale up positive social impact using technology. We match the most effective NGOs with professional teams from top IT companies to create digital solutions addressing some of the world’s most pressing problems.
We are a non-profit organization with a global reach; In the last year, we initiated over 450+ collaborations in 50 countries, with an estimated influence on ~7M lives. In the next 3 years, we are planning to match 2000 organizations and have a positive impact on 50M people!
Our partners include some of the most renowned organizations in their fields including: Ashoka, Google.org, AWS Amazon, UN Women, Lenovo or Twilio.org. Currently we are at about 30 people in the team in total.
We are on a Mission to make it an industry standard so that IT companies at least once a year engage in building Tech For Good solutions.
